Different gas meter comparison

At present, gas meters sorts of IC card gas meter, CPU card gas meter, gas meter, RF smart card gas meter, direct reading remote gas meter (wired remote) and wireless remote gas meter etc. we make a contrast of the existed problems for reference.

 

1,  IC card

  Features

·         Gas shortage, battery under pressure and other information to display promptly for intuitive interface;

·         Multi function button for inquiry, open the valve, overdraft and recharge;

·         Sensor counts double mechanisms to avoid gas metering mistakes;

·         Sensor fault detection, abnormal information recording and feedback;

·         Optional monthly cumulative gas consumption statistics;

·         Data access through multiple authentication, with high voltage static design, safe and reliable;

·         The control module has good sealing for avoiding the influence of kitchen water vapor and oil fume;

·         Glue with a complete stainless steel seal riveting connection, high pressure withstand 75kgPa.

·         Existing problems:

·         Interference problem: anti-interference capability is weak, especially in the harsh environment, such as humidity, high temperature, smoke, steam, corrosion which cause IC phenomenon problem.

·         Battery problem: due to different installation place, nature leakage of battery is seriously , electrolyte corrosion circuit board and electronic components, affect the normal work of instruments. On the other hand, the IC card is widely used in alkaline batteries, this design brings instability, if the battery supply is not stable, it is easy to cause valve closing.

·         Valve problem: the valve is a key component of control instruments, but the valve leakage, out run, large consumption, etc. cause instrument malfunction, or external attacks, so that the instrument can work normally, this is a weak link of IC card gas meter.

·         Card socket: because some card quality problems, poor contact resulting in the transmission of information to the user failure or mistake. On the other hand, the IC card slot is completely open, users can use a variety of ways which in fact attack the bayonet, caused by the failure of the control system, it is difficult to identify evidence, prone to user disputes.

2, CPU card gas meter

·         In addition of intelligent gas meter billing function, it also has a storage volume, recording gas situation, various functions of state display and voice prompt, ultra limit of gas flow, gas leak alarm (optional) intelligent management and safety function.

·         Existing problems:

·         First time use the ICRB type intelligent gas meter (CPU card), shall handle the relevant formalities by the Gas Company the banks designated to handle bank card (CPU card) after the formalities at the designated bank for gas.

 

3, RF card gas meter

  Features

·         Data access through multiple authentication, with high voltage static design, safe and reliable;

 

·         Existing problems:

·         Not suitable for long distance transmission.

 

4, Direct reading remote gas meter

  Features

·         Automatic meter reading and artificial centralized meter reading system model;

·         Direct read meter with two interfaces-Meter-Bus bus and wireless micro power ;

·         Communication with the master station through GPRS, telephone dial-up, message, wireless, Bluetooth and other ways.

 

·          Existing problems:

·         If the fault from direct reading device, then cannot read real-time data base correctly.

 

5,Wireless remote gas meter

  Features

·         A whole stainless steel sealing ring is used to seal the upper and lower shell, which has good sealing performance, pressure resistance and corrosion resistance.

·         The parameters are in full compliance with European standards, especially the pressure resistance value reached 50KPa.

·         Rotary valve core structure, stable operation.

·         Use of "magnetic drive", long-term operation of good sealing.

·         Machine core adopts advanced ultrasonic welding and hot plate welding, and the whole quality is stable.

·         The measurement repeatability is less than or equal to 0.6%. The measurement curve of good dispersion, less than 1.5%.

·          Existing problems:

·         If the fault from direct reading device, then cannot read real-time data base correctly. Or pulse counting device failure, there cannot be accumulated and stored in the table.

·         Wireless data will be disturbed, affecting the collection of data.

·         In the process of data acquisition, it is inevitable that there will be some interference sources with the same center frequency, which will affect the data collection.

·         Wireless remote transmission gas meter of battery is not durable.

The wireless remote gas meter power supply problem has plagued the gas meter factory, power supply intelligent gas meter consists mostly of dry batteries. Due to the large amount of power consumption in the transmission of wireless data, the battery is not durable.
